Warrior-Guides is pleased to announce our newest member/editor/contributor/ all around ass kicking warrior...Malacor
Rather than give a long winded introduction to Malacor I thought it best if he do it himself:)
Without Further adieux...
From the Mouth of Malacor
“Hey everyone! My name is Malacor, and I’m the latest contributor for Warrior Guides. My main area of expertise is PvE, I was a tank all of BC and saw everything on farm status up to BT, which I wasn’t fortunate enough to continue though due to your run of the mil guild-drama issues. So for the latter bit of BC I found myself expanding my knowledge base into PvP, I made it into the 1800 bracket in season for with 3v3 and the 1750 in 2v2. Now in WOTLK I raid as Arms DPS in a guild that is currently into EndGame Content. We have been attempting Yogg-Saron on 25 man mode, and have him downed on 10-man. We have everything prior fully cleared, and are currently expanding on hard modes in 10 man and some what in 25man as well. My goal here is to help everyone gain a further grasp of PvE knowledge as well as End Game raiding. As well as give incite into the benefits of Engineering. I’ll be helping out Blackthought with writing everything from Boss Starts and what your roll is as a tank or dps, to what gear you should be using and how to glyph, gem, and enchant it out to be all you can be as a warrior. I’m happy to be on board and look forward to hearing from all of you.

AWESOME!
Arms Pve here.. Still can't get the hang of PvP..
Just starting rolling all the BG's.. 30K honor in 72 hours but damn if we arent easy to kill in mixed 78-80 epic gear. Lots of good DPS output but surviving is an issue. How do you guys kite and move and still do your rotation? on my laptop it is almost like parting the Red Sea...
For now it’s just a fact of life, that warriors are squishy...
A lot of it has to do with the fact that we have NO magic damage mitigation...and some 90% of all damage you take is...well Magic. For the most part your armor only comes into play when fighting a feral druid, a rogue, or another warrior.
On kiting...
I would trying the following Macro:
/Cast Berserker Stance
/Cast Intercept
Depending on the class most “kiting” classes have at least 3 means of kiting you and 2 means of creating a distance gap.
It’s important to hit the hamstring before you do anything else because if your target is ahead of you by even a step you become ineffective.
Try starting with the Charge, intimidating shout combo. Then mortal strike.
If you have to choose between a non killing blow execute or mortal strike and a hamstring the Hamstring comes first (weird I know).
Bg’s is a little different but in Arena you live and die by your hamstring and ability to peal people off your healer.
Normal PVP rotation should be Hamstring, Rend, MS as opening to place debuffs on target. Once you have these up Execute and MS are priority over Overpower...UNLESS you can catch someone casting with an overpower (it reduces their effectiveness by 25% both healing and damage).
Use bladestorm when you really want to force a healer to do something or when you see a “fear”, “mind control” or ice block comeing your way and you are within striking distance. Always try to bladestorm when you’re enraged as well for more damage.
