Patch 3.2 - Warrior Patch Note Changes - In Repose

OK So patch 3.2 dropped yesterday and here are my thoughts after having some time to explore PVP, PVE and gems (OH GLORIOUS GEMS)
First...
Execute. I know my initial post was a bit...bitchy...but I stand by my claim for PVP. I don’t know if it’s that I was looking but OH the people who DID NOT DIE BY MY HAND as a result of only 30 rage being used and NOT 60. I’ll stop bad mouthing execute now because Blizzard did something that REALLY made a difference in my BG play and arena skirmishes. Something SO drastic that a post I’d been working on post concerning my run in with a Warlock in an AB who was consistently dropping 15k chaos bolts on me while I was sitting at 827 resilience....BUT after the 3.2 patch something has changed. I know there were some mechanic changes done to resilience and whatever those changes are I’M LOVING THEM. OMG AM I LOVING THEM.

Ok let me peel back a second. Prior to 3.2 it didn’t matter what I was doing, if I charged more than 3 people I was going to get chewed up and spit out before I could do anything, not any more. So for me the BIGGEST gain I got out of the 3.2 patch was my PVP survivability.

Second....
DK’s Got the Nerf bat, neeeneeer, neeeneeer, neeeneeer. Welcome to the wonderful world of NOT being OP. All that shyt talking about “L2P”, “quit QQ” etc, etc. I want to hear it now. Unless the 20 or so BG’s I ran last night didn’t get me a fair taste of DK’s post 3.2, I’m going to go ahead and say the following.
1. You hit like a noodle.
2. You actually Take damage now which is nice.

So let me help you out. That bar by your name that is dropping at an alarming rate...that’s your life. The orc laughing in front of you is me:)

GEMS. The new gems are nice. I picked up 6 +20 strength gems to replace 6 +16 gems. (that’s an additional 24 Strength). Couple this with the increase we got with patch 3.2 and Armored to the teeth and I once again feel good about hitting people in the face. Not that I wasn’t before but I noticed more people were getting more hurt. Maybe it was because I wasn’t dropping like a bag of kittens in a sack with a rock, maybe it’s because I was actually hitting harder, I don’t know but I was doing well in BG’s last night. Not that I don’t normally, but it just seamed like I was dishing about more Pew Pew. Of the last 6 bg’s I played I was top 3 in HK, damage, and honor and top 5 in KBs. As a result of the ...results of my BG play I’m going to be able to pick up another 3 gems for a JC to cut. THIS is simply the best for me in terms of how to get the new gems. 10k honor is roughly 8 bgs for me. So I get to have fun and EAT people too.

Ghetto Epics.
I know I didn’t touch much on this with the last 3.2 patch notes post, but I would strongly encourage you to go get them ASAP. Something seams entirely to easy about this as I ran like 4 heroics in the course of an hour and a half. I suspect blizzard will come to their senses and pull back on this so just as a precaution I would pick them up ASAP.

Lastly...
The NEW BG. More on the new instances once I get in one or once Mal gets in one (HINT HINT)
The new BG is pretty nice, it’s very fast paced and fun IMHO. I’ll be doing some more work on this once I get some more exp under my belt, but as a hint the guns on the towers in your HOME CAMP can be repaired...yeah that’s right repaired as in NOT destroyed, as in HONOR FARMING. I sat on top of a tower for 3 bg’s and literally had over 200 HK’s. All by just sitting on top of the gun and pressing 1 until 2 was available (now I know what it’s like to play a mage).

Post Lastly...
EXP for BG’s is nominal at best. 888 exp for a 20 min wsg = FAIL. So much for my dream of leveling up in BG’s.
