Fury warrior burst right now is the best i've seen in the game. I've been arms for a long time and when i first tried fury this expac, i was hooked.

and fury is complex and stance dancing is still required....retaliation/disarm/rending. i think fury is a harder spec to play honestly b/c you dont have throwdon or taltented hamstring so you have to set up your burst more carefully and with white hits for 22k+ im not too worried abt missing specials

yeah to the above post, if what you said is true then the fuking rogue sucks or has no faith in his abilities, and which fuking idiot war agrees not to use hamstring or his best gear. Now that is epic fail on the rogues part. Mercader grow a set and fight a real war with no rules anything goes, thats pvp not some pre-allocated situation so you can stroke your ego.

Abount the vid of mercader fighting the 5 warriors, there were rules laid down. The warriors were only alowed to wear bloodthirsty, and weren't allowed to use there hamstring ability. And the gear difference alone is enough for him to win that fight. And another rule was probably for swifty to play as prot instead of his usual pvp spec. lol. But yea, It wasn't as if mercader ran into these 5 warriors with there full gear and proper specs. It had limitations.

I am Arms warrior, and have NOT watched video yet, but the posts have peeked my curiosity. I to this day have only lost to three rogues, since I became serious about PvP. I am a full vicious Warrior with 'I'd like to think' SOME skill. I tried fury pvp, and felt rage starved to often, and didn't like the lack of complexity, and the lesser need of stance dancing, felt to plain to me personally. Also in high end arena enrage can be dispelled... so what will fury warriors do with no raging blow or enraged regen?

The other 4 warriors are a joke as well. I'm sure this rogue has skills, but this was not a display of any skill I can see.

Just as a fyi one of those prot warriors was swifty. the warcraftmovies swifty so they arent without skills that movie was made when recuperate could outheal healers. i know i play warrior and rogue so it was totally viable but yes the first 4 warriors kinda sucked they didnt utilize the class correctly.

yeah too many stupid mistakes, sorry I cant believe for a minute that this actually was a true free for all one on one.
Too many attacks not used such as throwdown and a lack of shouts. It really surprises me that this Mercader feels the need to stroke his ego this way and ask a war to lie down and take it while I stab you with my daggers.
I for one will never take it like that, I have been killed by a rogue but not before I brought him to with in an inch of his life. I make them remember me, yeah thats right you might have killed me but remember next time you might not be so damn fortunate.
I have never tried prot as a pvp spec and probable never will. Fury damage is just too nice.

That video is doctored like a mofo. I’m not saying the guy isn’t a good rogue and couldn’t kill 10 warriors in a row given a certain set of situations but seriously ? What warriors stands in the middle of a LARGE ASS ARENA and goes toe to toe with a rogue? First off I’m calling into question the skill of these ...”warriors” secondly I’m calling into question gear gaps and the like. I saw one of the prot warriors miss 2 or three thundershocks, demo shout was not really utilized as it should be nor was disarm or chain stunning. Watch closely and you’ll notice a lack of sunder armors too.

Like I said I’m sure this rogue is a force to be reckoned with.

FYI I focused primarily on rogues last night and I was 8-2. A good rogue will give you a run for your money if they know what they are doing. I still believe prot to be the best spec against a rogue followed by arms and then fury.

Oh and when I killed my 4 or 5 rogues I did it all at the same time. True story and it was in AV. Not some pre conditioned set up arena. I literally got opened up on by a few rogues and lived to tell the tell while sending at least 2 of them to the GY.

To share in the experience...well I saw a video on Youtube recently, it was post by a rogue whom some of you may or may not know, his name is Mercader. Any who he makes videos about his pvp exploits. I know what your thinking this is a warrior blog get the fuk out, just let me finish. He has made a series of videos when he goes 1 v 5. In this particular video I am talking about is a 1v5, the 5 being 5 warriors. It is called Mercader - Ultimate Warrior Challenge - Level 85 Mutilate PvP. It is a one on one fight but with no break after each kill.
So I hit the play button and I am thinking to myself this guy is so fuked...man was I wrong on so many levels. He completely destroys these lame pathetic excuses for warriors one by one. I mean where the fuk and how the fuk did these asshacks get the gear they had (your right Black the gear don't make the player). I wanted to cry it was so sad.
There are 3 prot wars and 2 arms wars up against this single rogue. He totally fuks them up, they should be in therapy they lost so bad.
Mercader has a simple strategy, he simple does his burst damage just so he can get 5 combo points and pop recuperate. The he does his normal white damage keeping rupture and slice and dice up and refreshing recuperate. He also use the pillars alot which any half decent pvper will use, I mean a moron would use that, many people complained in the comments that it wasn't fair that he used the pillars. Well I am sorry you pansy ass losers Mercader is just using the terrain (and you should to).

Regardless watching this video I wanted to tear my eyes out, break my computer and most of all I was ashamed to call my self a warrior.
I cant believe the lack of skill these players had, I mean you lost fine but at least bring him down to half health...die with some dignity.
I respect Mercader for his skill. But he didn't fight a single fury warrior. He fought 3 prot warriors who have great health but cant hit very hard, and 2 arms war with no real mobility and even less skill.
A fury war has the most hands down skull crushing burst damage in the game, and Mercader doesn't fight one and that I cant respect him for that. Fury have a better healing ability in bloodthirst than recuperate could ever give because it heals with each hit.
All I can say is I see why arms and prot pvp suck so bad. The wow gods made three war specs and I thank them every day for showing me the true path to take...fury biches.
I invite you all to watch the video just be careful...it hurts.
ARMS PVP IS DEAD. I HAVE NO FAITH IN IT ANY MORE.
ps. I want to hear your thoughts on it if you ever find the time to watch it, although it may not be a good idea, I almost lost faith in my warrior

I think the best feeling is when I step into the arena and see an arms war and a rogue on the other side. The first thing that comes to mind is I have to kill the damn war as fast as possible before the rogue hits my disc priest and sends him for a dirt nap. So far I have been very lucky in killing our dear friend the arms war. On a few occasions the rogue has nuked my healer (only good rogues really know how to do this trust me and there are very few of those).
Because of this experience I will be staying fury, i love the burst damage imo nothing really tops it. If there is fine, I have tried all the classes not to there fully extent don't get me wrong. I just love the fury war burst damage. Arms it seems that the dude wont die unless you have managed to keep CS on him, or it seems like I am waiting 5 mins for my bleeds to finally kill him. All the while he is kiting me around the arena.
As a side note no arms war has out dps me in a raid thus far....
