Crit cap is not like other caps you don't want to shoot for it, you just don't want to go over it and the cap changes depending on a few factors. Relitivley speaking a TG warrior will have a crit cap at about 53-57 depending on hit chance.
That 53% isn't a number you should shoot for, it's more a number you should NOT go over because you'll never crit MORE than that number.

Long and short of it is that 35-45% crit is more than fine. I'm working on the post now, sorry it took so long to get back to you.

no it is a bit confusing. Yellow hit cap is going to be the same for arms and fury. that number is 262.32, with fury you can get into precision and drop taht down to 163.95.

the white hit cap is a bit higher for FURY only because the rate to miss raises to 24% bringing the WHITE FURY HIT CAP to 688.59 with precision.

Basically in a nut shell 262.32...or 8-9% is where you want to be.

Ok, i got confused... At the beginning you talk about hit cap and yellow hit cap. Isnt the Yellow hit cap a higher hit # than just having hit cap? In arms you said they were the exact same.
ARMS
- Hit cap – 262.32
- Yellow cap – 262.32

Then for fury
FURY
- Hit cap – 688.59 with 3/3 precision (which is not what you want) you should get to 260-295 with 3/3 precision.
- Yellow cap – 163.95 with 3/3 precision, 262.32 without.

Im not trying to be rude or anything, but i want to really see what the yellow hit cap would be in order to maximize my fury warrior's DPS. Thanks

That's because 11.05% isn't the hit cap buddy. Unless you have like 786.96 hit rating you're going to miss. Actually you're a bit over the "soft" hit cap, which is the special skills hit cap. The reason it is suggested to go over 8%(special skill hit cap)is because your offhand is going to have a greater chance to miss... apparently tests prove that this 8-9% hit rating is the best place to settle for a fury warriors hit rating without it being overkill. I had the same problem on my fury warrior and there's nothing you can really do about it as long as you aren't gemming for hit or sacrificing other stats to build up hit any further. As for the attacking from behind, that wouldn't effect your misses. All attacking a target from behind does is keep them from "parrying" your attacks. (which is important, don't get me wrong.) Basically all I'm saying is you're always going to see misses on a fury warrior unless you just so happen to have like 786 hit rating (which is retardedly unreachable). Unless you're arms which didn't cross my mind until I typed all this up. correct me If I'm wrong please. I'm new to warrior honestly.

Geming for ARm Pen wont work if you have 3-4 pieces with it. Its is good but dont gem for it unless your filled with it. Allways gem for STR when Arm Pen passive on Gear is low.

Around 300+10% or -10%Hit you ll find a viable rotation for a Furry warrior

Crit : Less than 31-32% just wont work...

AP : Less than 4000 unbuffed+ Battle shout with the above minimum criteria included will lead you to 2000+ DPS on HC Trainer D if you rotate perfect with no poping any CD's

I just posted something on Armor Pen. Honestly I’m still looking for a number myself and waiting to hear back from a few friends who are “experimenting” with ALL ArP and such. What I posted helps to better understand the mechanics behind ArP so I would definitely check it out.

As it stands your ratio looks pretty standard. ArP has always been like a bastard stepchild to strength and Crit that it’s been ignored. With patch 3.1 the increase in effectivness went up so everyone is scrambling for some type of solid evidence on what ration of crit, str, Arp to use.

As soon as I find a viable answer I will definitely post it. If anyone knows please feel free to share.

nice post anything on suggested crit and ap for fury warr and still kinda lost on what i should do with armor pen right now keeping it 20% with 31% crit and your suggested hit rating ap at 4200 and gemmed for stg mostly so any help would be nice fury is best rotation i think more fun than arms 2 me and not much dps decrease if u know how to swang it
