For some reason NO ONE ever listened to me on this.
My brother is a rogue and we used to have some pretty epic duels and I would always beat him because even when he stun locks, if he can’t get at my back his DPS on me isn’t as harsh and I can usually weather the storm.

Fear bomb is a definite must. Honestly I don’t know why I haven’t thought of this before but it makes a lot of sense.

I have a good strat that’s been working for double DPS teams with a mage. INEVITABLY they pop mirrior image. While this is up I hop into defensive stance and toss on a shield and start in on the reflects. This helps to keep me alive while my healer focuses on himself. I use last stand here too just to help that much more and then I’ll start shield bashing the casters to get past the initial burst damage.

The macro you made mention of is refered to by me as the “Jack U Up” button. It’s my version of the I WIN Button and has a few various compositions depending on spec
ARMS –
/Cast Racial(especially if you’re an orc)
/USE AP Trinket
(this is an instant 1k+ AP)

Then hit my blender macor
/Cast Berserker Stance
/Cast Sweeping Strike
/Cast Recklessness
/Cast Bladestorm

FURY
/Cast Racial(especially if you’re an orc)
/USE AP Trinket
/Cast Deathwish
/Cast Recklessness
I then attack, THEN

/Dance
/Violin

And I found a solution the the double Melee teams ...

And I found a solution the the double Melee teams on your healers.

I faced this combo 6 times and only lost once.

Weather its a
Rouge/Rouge
Rogue/Druid (make sure its not resto, before you do this....thats the one I lost
Warrior/Rouge
Warrior/Retadin.
This works for me, once again I'm mixing gear for more ArP atm so this is probably more effective for me than it may be for you.

If you see that its a stealth team or 2xMelee team, have your healer (mines a druid) stand with their back to a wall.

The team will (99% of the time) go right past you and try to kill your healer.

Step 1. As they go by you Demo Shout, if you don't know what that does: It increases the healers chances of being not dead.

Step 2. Charge whichever one is hitter harder.

If your healer is dieing fast, Skip Step 3.

Step 3. Go zerker stance, sweeping strikes, pop recklessness and/or your burst tinket (macro this ftw)

Step 4. Bladestorm
Step 5. /dance

The blade storm will kill at least one of them. If not 1 MS or OP should do it. The thing I love about facing this combo is that they always follow the tree no matter where it goes, so i just follow my healer and they die.

The sesessfulness of this really depends on your healers ability to stay alive, if they're going down too fast, you may want to fear to give your healer a chance to heal up before doing this, and chances are, the other team already used up most of their burst.

If its a druid/rogue, having the healers back to the wall is very important too.

Lol, this could have been a post in itself

I found a DK who I'm planning on running 3s with t...

I found a DK who I'm planning on running 3s with this weekend, Finally, I'll be on a cheep team.

Hamstring
Fear
Chains of Ice
that umm...Other Ice Thing
Roots
Cyclone

Awww Yea.

Now I read and commented on your new post with the 800 DPS bumb. L...

LOL I completely feel your pain man, completely. Lets see where to start...
Unholy DK – I once fought 1 vs me and my healer and it took 15 minutes to kill the bastard...15 minutes in a 1v2 situation, AND he almost killed both of us on several occasions

Paladins – You have to use shattering throw to break the bubble otherwise it’s an effort in futility. Problem is that you have to also time it perfectly and pray for a good crit. I would also try and time hitting them with Overpower during their heal spells. Reason being is an overpower during a spell cast reduces effectiveness by 25%. Couple that with a mortal strike and you have 75% reduction in healing.

Arena Rating – GO 3v3 it’s easier to get points IMHO. 2v2 I’m running into the same problem right around where you are. My favorite team is the rogue rogue combo that complete DESTROYS my healer in a matter of seconds, regardless of what I do. The point system is a complete joke. It was designed so that people couldn’t just go get arena gear like it was nothing. PVP is now officially harder than PVE in terms of gearing up...from a warrior standpoint at least.

LMAO @ a 3 crit. That is quite possibly the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s like a complete slap in the face. I would almost rather take 300 reflected damage than do 3 damage. In fact I would petition blizzard to make any direct attacks against an opponent that are less that 50 reflect back double. I mean why the hell not it’s already an outlandish situation to begin with lets go for the gusto.

I’m still pondering the whole pve vs pvp gear thing too.
PVP gear is designed to give you resil, but as the resil cap is...well not sure exactly but like I’ve said the last number I’ve seen was around 1100 or so, which you’re not going to come close to right now. So the question then is which do I desire more? PEW PEW or survivability? Then the question you need to ask is, “is res really helping me that much” my contention is no, no it’s not. I’m a firm believer in playing your part. Warriors are, were, burst damage machines why not play towards that and go half and half...I think I’ll try this theory out a little more.

On Fury...
Funny you say it sucks. I noticed an 800 bump to my dps on Grob, thadius, and patch....while I was fury yesterday?. I’ll be writing something up on this today as well.

Back to Arenas
I’ve determined that it’s going to be a grind till you get your furious weapon, so don’t bother saving the points, get your gear as you go. When you hit 1100 get your gloves, when you hit 1200 get your next piece of tier gear. Eventually you will hit 1850 and then from what I’m told you can jump up a bit again...but my healer has been a bit flaky lately so I’m still waiting to get back into a competitive team again. Get into a 3v3 team if you can too. Points come easier and you might azs well start getting your team solidified, as of 3.2 2v2 teams aren’t going to apply to your ability to get gear so it’ll be pointless.
